Fundamental Unity of India

This book, first published in 1914, has been edited and includes an exhaustive introduction. There is not other work as influential as this study of the idea of India's unity embedded in the classical Hindu texts and scriptures. As opposed to the colonial notion that British rule had united India, he argued that there was an inherent unity in Indian civilization as it took shape in ancient India.
