Nowadays the concept of mechanistic organic chemistry has assumed very great importance. An organic chemist is interested in synthesis of a large number of varieties of organic reagents. Indian Universities have incorporated the topic of synthetic organic reagents in their syllabi not only in the post graduate level but also at the undergraduate level. The book covers the conventional and the most important topics on synthetic organic reagents. .
