Struggle Against Violence

Violence is an issue that many women have to confront in their lives. Violence against women can take so many forms-it may be rape, wife-beating, desertion, female foeticide and so on. The women's movement in India has been trying to evolve strategies of struggle against these forms of violence and this book reassesses the movement in terms of the achievements and limitations.
