This is probably the first indian book which deals with electronic instruments, trilateration, intertial positioning systems, satellite positioning systems and remote sensing.in order to place more emphasis on practical applications, all unnecessary description, historical backgrounds etc. Have been eliminated. It has been attempted to explain the text with the help of neat and self-explanatory diagram which can be easily reproduced by the reader. Several worked examples have been added wherever possible in order give the clear idea of the theoretical concepts.
