1. All the chapters consist of a ‘Flow Chart’; which is a graphic organizer which helps in visualizing the whole chapter in one go and helps create relations between the knowledge of the students. This helps in filling the gaps and creating a smooth sphere of knowledge. 2. The chapter also lists down ‘Keywords’ at the beginning of the lesson which helps in creating an understanding of the lesson for the students. 3. Specifically, in history the importance of dates is paramount, so in history subject, we also mention ‘Important Dates and Related Events’ separately for ready reference of students. 4. The book lists the ‘Syllabus’ prescribed by NCERT and the ‘Question Paper Design’ to be followed for the ready reference of teachers and students alike. 5. Extensive maps have been used throughout the book, so to help ease the navigation and search for these maps a ‘List of Maps’ has been given separately. 6. The book covers the question provided by NCERT in both the formats; namely: a.NCERT In-Text Questions b.NCERT Chapter End Questions Along with Activities mentioned in the NCERT book. 7. Each chapter will have various types of questions like:- MCQ, SAQ, LAQ, HOTS, Value Based Questions, One-word Questions etc. 8. Various ‘Important Solved Questions’ are provided to the students in each chapter for revision of the chapter. 9. Also ‘Previous Year Board Exam Questions’ are given in a solved manner to give students a sense of the types of questions which are asked in board exams. 10. Also, we provide 6 ‘Model Test Papers’ (One solved) at the end of the book as per the marking scheme prescribed by NCERT for final preparation towards exams.
