Understanding Vedanta Lecture Series- The Path of Knowledge

The Understanding Vedanta Lecture Series is based on lectures on various scriptures. Book I- THE PATH OF KNOWLEDGE Based on chapter 2 of the Bhagavad Gita. Chapter 2 is the most significant among the 18 chapters containing as it does, the essence of the entire philosophy of Hinduism. In the one single chapter, Lord Krishna expounds to the bewildered Arjuna the concepts of the real and unreal, of death and rebirth, suffering and happiness, pleasure and pain, the nature of the Atman, the characteristics of the man of wisdom, and the need to control the senses. These lectures give in a simple concise form the essence of chapter 2.
