This short story collection comprises of Two books of 15 each of Anand Raghav's stories published in Ananda Vikatan, Kalki, Kalaimagal, Amudhasurabhi, Kumudam and Vaarthai. Anand Raghav, is a short story writer and playwright with an emotional perspective that touch a cord. He also writes research articles on the religious, historical and cultural texts. He is an active contributor in all leading Chennai based Magazines. He is well known for his unique style of story telling that is laced with humour with a twist in the tale. With 60 short stories to his credit, published and well acclaimed, he has received quite a few recognitions. Recipient of the " Illakkiya chinthanai" award for the 'Best short story of the year for 2010' he has won 14 other prizes in short story competitions held by in Chennai, U.S.A and Australia. Anand Raghav is also a playwright of repute and has over 40 stage performances to his credit. He was a judged among the finalists in last year's Hindu Metroplus Playwright award.
