Catalogue of Polish Banknotes 1916-1994

The author treats banknotes as "small works of art of everyday utility", as well as documents of historic and economic events and socio-political changes. The present catalogue came into being as a consequence of these interests. Its principal goal is to systematise and disseminate knowledge about Polish banknotes as a means of payment and their artistic qualities; it is not intended to be just a complement to the hobby of banknote collecting.
