Este volumen viene a ser la armadura inevitablemente incompleta del que iba a ser el cuarto libro de relatos de Roberto Bolano. Las piezas y esbozos narrativos aqui reunidos tienen por base un archivo de texto muy tardio, en el que Bolano trabajo hasta poco antes de su muerte. Como ya ocurria en Putas asesinas y en El gaucho insufrible, de nuevo se entremezclan aqui, junto a relatos propiamente dichos, textos de naturaleza no narrativa, conforme a la cada vez mas acusada tendencia de Bolano a confundir las fronteras genericas con el proposito de fecundarlas. / This volume is the inevitably incomplete framework which was going to be Roberto Bolaños fourth book of short stories. The basis for these narrative pieces and sketches is some of Bolaños latest material, that which he was working on right up until his death. The title under which all these stories come is the same as that of the story that begins: This story is very simple although it could have been very complicated. Also: it is unfinished, because these kinds of stories do not have an ending.
