Sert, 1928-1979: Half a Century of Architecture: Complete Work

The book compiles half a century of architecture by the most international and influential Catalan architect of the twentieth century. It includes world famous projects such as Harvard University's Holyoke Center (1958). Sert's professional life is characterized by three main cities: Barcelona, where he was determined to introduce modern architecture, New York, and Cambridge, Massachussets, where Sert aspired to continue the lessons of the avant-gardes both in terms of architecture and of urban planning. The book also includes articles written by Sert specialists such as Josep M. Rovira, Juan Jose Lahuerta, Jaume Freixa, and Carolina B. Garcia.
