Teaching Post-Colonialism and Post-Colonial Literatures (THE DOLPHIN)

In this volume, an international group of scholars address the multiplicity of issues concerning the presentations to students of post-colonial literature. This collection focuses upon specific strategies for teaching post-colonial literature within particular political environments. The contributors offer specific course outlines covering the literature of a number of post-colonial regions, as well as articles on teaching post-colonialsm. The individual chapters survey the changes and ideas in the discourse of "Commonwealth literature" since the emergence of this particular field. The essays are historical, formulating a cohesive sense of past and present.
