Global Information Infrastructure (GII) Evolution, Interworking Issues

An overview of knowledge about the evolution of communication networks towards global information infrastructures. It addresses the issues of networking to solve the interoperability issues in the heterogeneous networks environment. Topics include: signalling and management; multimedia service handling; traffic management to guarantee the quality of service; interworking between narrow band and broadband networks; and interworking issues related to network management.
