Reference Information Model for Clinical Laboratories, RILA as Loboratory Management Toolbox (Studies in Health Technology and Informatics, 55)

To facilitate the transformation of healthcare laboratories from production testing operations into information management organizations, this work describes a recent model for healthcare laboratories. This model illuminates new insights into operations and organization, and defines critical information processes. Along with the model, the work also provides the computer tools to support that transformation and facilitate the new information management organization.
