Dutch Dare: Contemporary Photography from the Netherlands

Tulips, cheese and clogs are put on notice in this survey of contemporary Dutch photography. Gerco de Ruijter hangs his camera on a kite to make strange, abstract landscapes. Marnix Goosens entangles the viewer's gaze in thickets and blocks it with tree trunks rather than presenting the flat panoramas of his Flemish predecessors.
