Rosicrucians through the Ages

Many people are familiar with the fact that there was a Brotherhood of the Rosycross in 17th-century Europe. Some of these people are not aware of the fact that in our time also there are groups of people calling themselves Rosicrucians.

This book intends to inform people in a number of articles of various aspects of the teachings and activities of the historical and of the present-day Rosicrucians.

Amongst other things, it explains what the concept 'Rosycross' signifies. The 17th-century brotherhood is placed against the background of its time and concepts like the Trigonum Igneum, the fiery triangle, a key to the everyday spiritual mode of life of the Rosicrucians, are extensively explained. In addition, key figures within both the classical (Johann Valentin Andreae) and the current movement (Jan van Rijckenborgh) are discussed.
