Drawing on UNWTO's experience with TEDQUAL (Tourism Education Quality), this book focuses on the all-important task of improving the quality of tourism education. It provides a new methodological insight to standardize the analysis of tourism education and training quality gaps and better match the needs of tourism employers with the training options offered to tourism students. Developed by UNWTO, with the assistance of the George Washington University (USA), Introduction to TEDQUAL explains the need for this new approach and offers the results of a pilot study carried out using TEDQUAL methodology.
