Under the WTO Agreements, members have the right to apply trade remedies in the form of anti-dumping, anti-subsidy or safeguard measures, subject to specific rules. There has been a growing demand, from a number of partners of the International Trade Centre, for a publication explaining to business people the essential laws applicable, and practices followed in such proceedings. It is in response to this demand that this Guide has been published.
