The Merchant of Venice

Bassanio, a Venetian belonging to the nobility but poor, asks his best friend, Antonio, a wealthy merchant, to lend him 3,000 ducats that allow you to fall in love with the rich heiress Portia. Antonio, who has all the money spent on their boats abroad, decides to ask to borrow the sum Shylock, a Jewish moneylender. Shylock agrees to lend money on the condition that if the sum is not returned by the date set, Antonio will have to give a pound of his own flesh of the body part that Shylock dispusiera.
