Educational Psychology

It is a difficult task to write anything concerning one's own work, However, one has to do as it is quite customary to write the preface of a book, , The main aim of the present work is to provide a handy text-book of Educational Psychology to the B. Ed., L.T., B.T. and B.A. (Education) students of various Indian Universities. I do not beg any excuse for bringing out this book in spite of so many foreign and Indian books available on the subject. Every writer has his own style and power of communication with the readers and it is the reader who has to decide which book is able to satisfy his varying needs. I do not boast of originality with regard to the contents of the book but the style and presentation of the matter is mine and on account of my long period of attachment with the student teachers I have tried to realise their needs and requirements. I express my gratitude to the various writers, the views and opinions of whom I have freely incorporated in this work.
