Geography of India for Civil Services Examination

As the title goes, “Geography of India” is about the geography of India that touches both the physical features as well as the socio-economic topography of this vast country. Written in simple language, this book covers the entire regional variations that the country is made up of and gives much details about the demographic structure, the mineral wealth and the industrial base that is plotted on it.

Surender Singh: Surender Singh is senior Associate Professor, Shivaji College (University of Delhi), New Delhi. A PhD (1985) in Geography from the University of Delhi, Dr. Singh has been teaching Geography to undergraduate and postgraduate students since 1976. He has also published a number of books from leading publishing houses.

Jitender Saroha: Jitender Saroha is currently Joint Secretary, University Grants Commission, New Delhi. A PhD in Geography from the University of Delhi, Delhi, Dr. Saroha was earlier teaching at B.R. Ambedkar College (University of Delhi), Delhi as Associate Professor.
