It is indeed gratifying that "VISION" icon has seen eight successful editions in state examinations and is now entering the NEET / DNB PG domain with a brand-new look. The strength and popularity of our books has been its simple language and comprehensiveness that has essentially remained unchanged since its inception. VISION's vision for details and meticulous presenting style has always been popular amongst the generations of PG aspirants. Various ways were thought of, which we discussed with our colleagues, PG aspirants and successful PG students, and have been incorporated in these three volumes. This new venture is in keeping with the objective to match the pace of ever-changing subject matter and ever-growing competition for medical PG seat. While the primary theme of the book is maintained, this new book has become more descriptive and more comprehensive. To fulfill the needs of today's generation of students, some new features have been introduced in this edition. All the chapters are divided into multiple topics and subtopics and a set of NEET pattern MCQS are given at the end of each topic, making the reader to thoroughly understand a topic and revise it by solving the MCQs, before proceeding to the next one. Most chapters have been rearranged to provide sequential learning to the students. Many new illustrations have been added for easy comprehension of the basic concepts. Exercise questions have been added at relevant places.
