The Basics of Combinatorics

The book deals with the ideas and insights of basic combinatorics - funny, simple and tricky. On the one hand, combinatorics is clever and challenging, but on the other hand, it has a huge advantage over other areas of mathematics: it's underlying mathematical mechanism is neither cumbersome nor sophisticated. The basic principles of combinatorics can be explained using addition and multiplication only. The book is equipped with more than 100 exercises, each of them with a complete solution and explanation. The book is intended for the general public (in Hebrew).
