Entre las decadas de 1920 y 1950, la ceramica engretada de Tlaquepaque vivio un renacimiento. La presencia de artistas como Roberto Montenegro, Doctor Atl, Ixca Farias y Adolfo Best Maugard, jugo un papel importante en este momento. Aquellos ceramistas lograron una decoracion que afirmaba la herencia de su pasado y se convirtieron en precursores del movimiento de revaloracion de las artes populares mexicanas. ENGLISH: From the 1920s to the 1950s, the glazed earthenware of Tlaquepaque underwent a revival thanks in part to the presence of artists like Roberto Montenegro, Doctor Atl, Ixca Farias and Adolfo Best Maugard. The ceramicists of Tlaquepaque invented a decorative style that reaffirmed the legacy of their past while becoming a precursor to the movement to reevaluate Mexican folk art.
