5th International Conference on Technology and Operation of Offshore Support Vessels marked the 10th year since the first Conference was held. Singapore is the birthplace of OSV conferences. Since then such OSV conferences are held each year in many places like Malaysia, China, Middle East, Amsterdam, USA, Brazil and Oslo. Further, this is the only OSV Conference, which produces a complete conference proceeding with full technical papers, which is a valuable collection for reference materials for readers, researchers and others.

This proceedings is concerned with a wide range of vessel types including anchor handling tug/supply vessels, offshore supply vessels, multipurpose support/supply vessels, diving support vessels, multipurpose construction vessels, pipe laying vessels, accommodation barges, crew boats, large crane vessels, subsea construction vessels, etc. It will be of interest to ship designers, shipbuilders, owners & operators, drilling contractors and installation contractors for understanding future needs and challenges, as the search for hydrocarbons moves into deeper waters.
