The herpetofauna of Mindo is worth celebrating. To do that, we bring you close to this natural heritage in a way that really makes an impact on you. That is the reason why our team has made such great efforts to create crisp and charismatic photographs or scientific illustrations for each one of Mindo's 101 amphibians and reptiles. It also is the reason why we have spent so many years studying Mindoan herps in the field or learning about them in the literature, museum collections and in the minds of so many researchers and local people. Other ways in which we feel we are creating positive impact are in the publication of a clear and well-supported body of knowledge about Mindoan herps, including sound recordings, comparative charts and figures, personal communications and carefully designed distribution maps for each Mindoan species.
