Description
WELCOME TO SELLER PAYITAHT'S LIBRARY!!! Bilingual English-Turkish. Insurance emerged with the growth of maritime commerce and the concurent increase in risks when people began to feel the need to protect their goods and their lives against unexpected events. In the Ottoman Empire, insurance entered via commerce in the Mediterranean and with the rapid growth of trade in the mid-19th century, the leading insurance companies of the West began to ofer their services on Ottoman soil.
