Many regions of Latin America are experiencing rapid political and economic reforms, leading to a growth in demand for all types of telecommunications services. Privatization and regulation issues continue to plague many of its countries, however, and many regions struggle to provide even the most basic services. Despite these obstacles, Latin America has become the telecom market of choice for many investors.
