Why Women Leave--And What Corporations Can Do About It

New research indicates that women are leaving corporate America at twice the rate of men. Many of these women go into business for themselves. Findings from the National Foundation of Women Business Owners (NFWBO) show that women who become entrepreneurs run their organizations in a markedly different way than their former employers do. This article examines these differences and proivides suggestions for corporations who wish to attract and keep top women.
