State of the World: e-Government Implementation

Recent studies point to extensive growth in the deployment of e-government initiatives worldwide with the US alone planning to spend more than $6.2 billion by 2005. Implementation issues include infrastructure needs, design, and consistency issues; legal and policy issues; accessibility concerns; measurement and assessment needs; and strategic planning, timetables, and marketing support plans.
