HP Storage and Data Management Services: An Overview

"HP needs to raise the visibility of its information life-cycle management-related services offerings, especially in the professional services categories, where it is not as well-known or respected as IBM," says Timothy Wong, IDC Asia/Pacific, services analyst. "The market is realigning to not look at storage from a technology perspective but as data assets. The need to sell storage services more as data management services, rather than a technology solution, will greatly ensure its storage solutions' relevance in future."
