Western European Managed Services: Vendor Ranking

This study is an addition to the earlier published managed services report, European Managed Services — 2004 Competitive Landscape (Doc #RI14L, December 2004) and is focused on the revenues for the calendar year 2004. However, in order to provide a coherent analysis, key findings of the earlier study are summarized.

According to Janine Jadnanansing, research analyst at IDC, "In terms of revenue, IBM takes the number 1 position, followed by HP. Both of them are 'global trendsetters'. They have strong visibility across the globe in all of the major regions in which they have established track records over many years. However, in terms of momentum, HP takes a leading role."
