Nordic Quarterly Executive Service, Q1, 2005

This report updates IT and telecom trends found in the four Nordic markets, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland.

The most recent financial developments in the four countries are highlighted as well as major market developments in hardware, software and services. New data and forecasts are provided for the size of all product markets in the Nordic countries. Furthermore, the IT Investment Index is giving an up-to-date temperature of the current investment climate in the Nordic region.

"Growth in IT investments is expected to max out during 2005 and 2006", says Per Andersen, managing director of IDC Nordic. "We expect to see IT markets in the Nordic region stabilize over the next two to three years and growth to level out around a 6% IT market growth level".
