Quarto with 107 full-page plates reproduced from the originals of English sporting life, an Introduction to English sports and an extensive, annotated bibliography of English sporting books. Red cloth with gilt lettering and decoration on front cover and spine. A very nice copy of a useful reference and beautifully illustrated sporting book. In VG condition, nice and square, red cloth w/some fading towards the edges, full spine faded, gilt intact and bright on front cover, interior excellent, all plates intact. Prior owner gift inscription, dated Xmas 1924
