From the author: The increase in the use of teams/groups in business organizations and the increase of females in mid- to upper-level management positions have had dramatic impacts on the management of organizations. As organizations come under increased scrutiny with regard to the extent to which they act in socially responsible ways, the impact of these two trends on the organization's ability to act in this manner should be explored. This article presents a study designed to investigate the impact of gender and team composition on individual and group ethical decision making within organizations.
