From the supplier: Central Kitsap School District in Silverdale, WA has seen a marked increase in student performance since the implementation of computer-assisted instruction in all schools begun in 1980. Tandy and other MS-DOS compatible computers make a wide variety of instructional software available to students, allowing each to progress at his or her own pace while decreasing student-teacher ratios. The same computers can be used in the administration offices, the school store, the vocational education department, the library, and even to handle bus scheduling. With all administrative offices in the district using WordPerfect, Lotus 1-2-3, and filePro 16, information can easily be shared among offices. District-wide compatibility has proven versatile and economical.
