From the supplier: The $1,299 Tandy 100 TL and the $899 Tandy 1000 SL feature a small footprint, MS-DOS 3.3, a Deskmate interface, and an 80,000-word spelling dictionary all housed in ROM. These are the first personal computers which can record and play back speech and sound. Interfaces include a parallel printer port, an RS-232 serial port, an audio-input jack, a headphone jack, and RGBI monitor port and ports for two joysticks. The 1000 TL's 640k of memory can be expanded to 768K, and its single 3.5 inch floppy disk drive can be augmented by two additional internal floppy drives. slots, math coprocessor support, and one 5.25 inch internal floppy drive. The mounting of additional internal floppy drives on either model has been simplified by Tandy's new drive-mounting device. Other storage options for either model include 20MB and 40MB hard disk cards.
