From the supplier: Apple Computer Inc introduces the Apple II Video Overlay Card. The package of hardware and software is designed for the Apple IIe and IIgs, and extends them with capabilities for combining text, graphics and video. The Overlay Card accepts input from a videodisc, VCR, video camera or television. The resulting display can be viewed from both an RGB and composite monitor, as well as displayed and recorded on a VCR. The VideoMix software enables users to adjust color and select from seven levels of video and graphics mixes. The product enables users to manipulate video material in new ways. It also has a number of educational applications. The full package is priced at $549 and consists of add-on board, RGB cable, a video in/out cable and a manual.
