From the supplier: The Minnesota Insurance Agents Assn have signed an exclusive workers' compensation insurance marketing contract with Michigan Physicians Mutual Liability Co that will provide the agents with a new carrier and provide the insurer with its initial entry into the workers' compensation field. Minnesota agents lost their largest carrier in 1992 when the State Fund's financial difficulties caused them to stop coverages. Michigan Physicians Mutual Liability expects to write approximately $10 million in Minnesota workers' compensation policies with its Superiors Employers Plan program.
