From the supplier: In May 1992 the FDA issued an outline of its plan to regulate foods derived from new plants, including modified varieties. The agency will apply existing law to these foods and will not treat them specially, because of the techniques used to create them. No new rules specifically designed for genetically engineered foods are planned.
