From the supplier: House Energy and Commerce Committee Chmn John Dingell asked members of the National Association of Insurance Brokers to suggest improvements to his legislative proposal for federal regulation of the insurance industry. Dingell offered to make changes that would obtain industry support for his solvency regulatory proposal. The proposal calls for national insurance industry standards, federal licensing regulation and a choice of federal or state solvency regulation.
