From the supplier: Colorado has changed its laws to make the state a more attractive domicile for captive insurance companies. The current 1% flat tax on captive insurance premiums is being replaced by a progressive tax schedule, captives will be allowed to lend funds to their parent and loss reserves will be allowed to be discounted. The Colorado Assn of Captive Entities is trying to woo captive insurers to the state through a promotion campaign.
