From the supplier: The 103rd US Congress formally started at the swearing-in ceremony conducted last Jan 6, 93 with 100 new members and in only three days has come up with almost 500 new legislative proposals. Some of the proposals that are relevant to the retail industry include the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, unfair business and small business legislation. A payroll tax bill inspired by Pres Bill Clinton's campaign plan for employee training was also proposed.
