From the supplier: Lloyd's Names Associations Working Party Chmn Christopher Stockwell has denounced the Lloyd's of London extraordinary general meeting (EGM) scheduled for Jul 5, 1993, as a distraction from important issues between the insurer and its members that will give Lloyd's a poor public image. The EGM was scheduled on the request of slightly more than 100 militant names who plan initiatives calling for refunds and compensation and a vote on Lloyd's new business plan. Lloyd's plans to amend its bylaws on EGMs to require that a larger proportion than 100 of the 1,500 member names are needed to request an EGM.
