From the supplier: A study by Northwestern National Life reveals that money spent on rehabilitation programs is well worth it. For every dollar spent in workers' rehabilitation, an employer or an insurance firm will save about $35 on disability. When a worker is no longer able to work, costs include the loss of potential manhours as well as the cost of disability. If a worker returns to the same job, savings amounts to $96 saved for every dollar spent on rehabilitation.
