From the supplier: Michigan Insurance Commissioner David Dykhouse, the liquidator of the bankrupt American Commercial Liability Insurance Co, is suing former American Commercial agents for the return of commissions paid in the 12 months prior to the insurer's liquidation. Dykhouse is suing under a Michigan law regulating preferential transfers of funds that benefit one class of creditors over another. Dykhouse contends that the transfers were illegal since they were made while the insurer was insolvent.
