From the author: The XbaI and EcoRI restriction fragment length polymorphisms at the apolipoprotein B gene locus were studied using the polymerase chain reaction. The allele, genotype, and haplotype frequencies in Russians from west Siberia were determined. Linkage disequilibrium between the XbaI and EcoRI loci was detected.
