From the supplier: Experiments designed to determine the characteristics of SBR/carbon black wet masterbatch (WMB) are described. Compared to dry-mixed compounds, WMB-mixed compounds show a higher level of SBR-molecular-motion restriction. WMB-mixed compounds also display longer fatigue life and superior reinforcement and have larger fracture-surface energy than do dry-mixed compounds.
