From the supplier: Small family-owned business enterprises (SB) contribute significantly to the economies of Korea and the US. As such, their succession concerns have an indirect impact on how they perpetuate themselves. To find out how cultural differences affect succession planning, 39 American SB owners and 34 Korean SB owners were surveyed. The analysis incorporated issues on family member employment, degree of succession planning and succession practices.
