From the supplier: Oregon Insurance Commissioner Gary K. Weeks approved an average reduction of 11.4% in workers' compensation premium rates effective in January 1993. The rate reduction is the third in a row following an 11.0% reduction for 1992 and a 12.2% reduction for 1991. Based on an estimate by the Oregon Department of Insurance and Finance, Oregon employers will save $57 million from reduced workers' compensation premia. Total savings to employers since the 1991 reduction exceed $200 million.
