From the supplier: The evolutionary view of Alchian should be used as a framwork for theory construction in the field of macroeconomics, and it can be modelled in a computable way, though standard modelling methods are inappropriate. Standard theory cannot cope with certain situations, for example, in a situation of high inflation, intertemporal markets disappear. Computable Economics is thus an important field, since it not only allows more complex systems to be discovered, but can also help change modelling orientation and techniques.
